Georgetown University announced its Early Action decisions for the Class of 2028 in mid-December. A total of 860 students were accepted to the Jesuit college out of about 8,600 applicants, making the admission rate around 10% for the 2023-2024 cycle. This year’s Early Action cycle was one of the strongest in Georgetown’s history.

While the 8,600 applicants for the Class of 2028 didn’t break any records for the Washington, DC-based college, the 10% Early Action admission rate for this cycle matched or came close to a previous low set for the Class of 2026.
