Turmoil at Penn After Inadequate Response to Campus Antisemitism
Penn’s Early Decision notifications for the Class of 2028 come during a troubled time for the Ivy League school. The school is going through big changes. Liz Magill, the president, stepped down on Saturday amidst criticism for her performance in a congressional hearing. She faced backlash for not clearly addressing whether suggesting the harm of Jewish students would be considered harassment. Dr. J. Larry Jameson, the former leader of the university’s medical school, is now the temporary president after Magill’s departure.
